Jets sign 29th overall pick Kyle Wilson
The New York Jets have reached an agreement on a five year deal with cornerback Kyle Wilson.
Wilson's contract has a maximum value of $13 million with $7.12 million guaranteed.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but based on the 28th and 30th picks contracts, Wilson's deal will should have a maximum value around $12.5 million with around $7.1 million guaranteed.]
With the signing of Wilson the Jets have now signed all 4 of their 2010 picks.
As a sophomore at Boise State Wilson started 13 games at cornerback, , finishing the season with 41 tackles, eight pass breakups, two interceptions, two tackles for loss, one sack and a blocked kick. Wilson earned second team All-WAC honors in 2008. In 2009 Wilson had five interceptions and ten pass breakups. He was named first team All-WAC and was a second team All-American in the Sporting News.
