The San Francisco 49ers have signed first-round draft pick Anthony Davis, an offensive lineman from Rutgers, to a five-year contract.

ESPNs Adam Schefter is reporting the deal is for 5 years $26.5 million with $15.954 million guaranteed.

The signing means that Davis will be at training camp when the team begins on Sunday.

The news comes minutes before the announcement that the 49ers also signed Mike Iupati, their other first round pick.

With Davis and Iupati on the offensive line this season expect Frank Gore to have a career year.
