Michael Young is NOT a good defender. His range was downright awful. Him winning a GG was the worst thing to happen to the Rangers. Andrus has better range and will save many runs for the Rangers pitching staff. They aren't finishing behind the Mariners.

I don't get how if the Rangers had the worst pitching last year and still won 79 games, that they're all of a sudden gonna lose 10 more. You have to think Padilla/Millwood will pitch marginally better than last year, and any healthy starts from McCarthy will be better than the likes of Jason Jennings or Sidney Ponson. I expect them to be .500, and either 2nd or 3rd in the division, but not last.
